Embarking on our 28th dance season in our beautiful studio, we have a renewed focus on the future of educating children in dance. Pairing our extensive experience in dance education with the changing times of dance and society, we have updated our program to pair wonderfully with our community. We continue to instill positive self confidence and cultivate social skills in every dancer in a fun, age appropriate environment. We can't wait to see the success of our students this school year through our revamped curriculum, re-imagined classroom activities, and exciting new performance opportunities.

Experienced, professional teachers

Our outstanding staff has extensive experience in dance performance, dance education and in working with young children. In addition to spending decades with Gotta Dance, each of our teachers brings her own unique skills and experiences to our team. From local performance careers in theater, competition dance team and theme park entertainment to degrees in Business, Hospitality and Speech-Language Pathology, our team is well-rounded, accomplished and focused on cultivating our vision of positive dance instruction and a sense of family.

A sense of community through our Gotta Dance Family

We’ve always prided ourselves in creating a safe, positive, non-competitive environment to help our students grow as dancers and individuals.  We’ve had the privilege of watching countless beautiful, lifelong friendships grow amongst our students over our 25 years of instruction.  We are incredibly honored to be the safe space in which these relationships were formed.

A positive, safe environment

Developing a child’s self-confidence and positive self-worth is an important goal in our classroom.  We strive to instill a respect for the art of dance while positively reinforcing the achievements of our dancers.  Understanding and embracing how each student can grow her/his skills at a different rate than her/his peers is crucial to the positive development of the student.  We celebrate the uniqueness of each of our students and every accomplishment she/he makes!

Age-appropriate skills and curriculum

As exposure to dance becomes more mainstream to society through entertainment and social media, we strive to instruct our classes using only age-appropriate skills and goals.  We have developed a leveled curriculum specific to each age group that safely introduces skills when students’ bodies are mature enough to handle them.  As a student progresses through our program, she/he builds upon these important skills each year.

In addition to instructing only age-appropriate skills and curriculum, you can always rest assured that your dancer will only hear age-appropriate music and be costumed in age-appropriate costumes.
